Why ... Are Beginnings Hard?
A little more about what I'm trying to accomplish here. I'll tell you a secret...not much.
It might be that blinking cursor on a fresh blank page that is intimidating you.
Or, it could be the first time skiing a bowl and that drop down is just a little too scary.
It could be walking into a networking event alone without knowing whether you’re going to see anyone you know or if people will welcome and accept you.
It’s taken me far too long and too many excuses to finally get started here. But, I finally got in the right headspace, read a lot of great advice and inspiring stores from
. Yeah, I’m calling you out, Tim! And, just said “fuck it” I have nothing to lose and everything to gain.I can’t tell you that I am only going to write about certain topics. That’s why the description is what it is. It’s what’s on my mind…now.
Hoping you’ll find some value of some sort to it. But, if you don’t that’s fine, too, because I’m writing this more for myself than you, the audience.
What would be the very best outcome is if you choose to comment and engage in back-and-forth discussion. I want to read your thoughts, ideas, opinions, and dreams as much as I want to share mine. It’s an open forum.
This will never be a paid subscription. So, subscribe away! Tell your friends!
Maybe finally launching the first episode of the “We Call BS” podcast with my friend Andrew last week helped open the door to communicating more in more formats. That also is freeform. Just tow seasoned business professionals talking for a half-hour, give or take, about things that are just bullsh*t. Here’s a link to the first episode.
By the way, what do you think is utter bullsh*t? Leave a comment. We have plenty of ideas of our own but would love to hear yours.
